Why is live caption not available?

With a single tap, Live Caption automatically captions speech on your device. You can use it on media like videos, podcasts, phone calls, video calls, and audio messages. Tip: If these steps don't work, you may need to first turn on Live Caption in your device’s Accessibility settings. When Live Caption is on, captions appear for speech in media playing on your device. On Pixel phones, captions also appear during calls. The person on the other end of the call is notified with a voice announcement that captions are on. All captions are processed locally, never stored, and never leave your device. Tip: If you don’t find “Live Caption,” you might need to update your Android System Intelligence. Android System Intelligence was previously called “Device Personalization Services.” If you find the previous name in the Play Store, you can still update the app. Move the caption box

How do I get rid of live caption not available?You can stop Live Caption in Chrome by turning it off from the Accessibility section of Chrome's Settings page. You can also turn Live Caption on or off from the Media icon that appears in the Chrome toolbar when a video is playing.
