Symptoms

When you use Internet Explorer 11 to browse a Google webpage on Windows 8.1, you receive the following error message:

This page can't be displayed.

Then, when you refresh the webpage, the webpage is displayed.

Cause

This issue occurs if the Internet connection is established through certain proxy servers when the SPDY/3 protocol is enabled in Internet Explorer.

Resolution

Update information

To resolve this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update.

Workaround

To work around this issue, you can disable the SPDY/3 protocol on the Advanced tab in Internet Options.

Internet Explorer (IE) – một trình duyệt web xuất hiện từ rất lâu mặc dù hiện nay có rất nhiều trình duyệt webkhacs nhau như Chrome, Cốc Cốc, Firefox….nhưng cũng không thể thay thế hoàn toàn được công cụng của IE.

IE hiện được sử dụng phổ biến ở Việt Nam, đặc biệt là trong các cơ quan nhà nước hoặc các công ty dùng để khai báo thế, xuất nhập hóa đơn….Tuy nhiên, không phải lúc nào IE cũng hoạt động được hiệu quả, ổn định. Một lỗi mà người dùng IE có thể mắc phải đó là “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”

Đây là lỗi IE không thể kết nối được internet mặc dù máy tính vẫn hiển thị đã kết nối mạng được. Khắc phục lỗi này rất đơn giản, chúng ta cùng thực hiện theo các cách sau.

Cách 1: Xóa lich sử trình duyệt web

• Đầu tiên, các bạn mở IE và click chọn Tools -> internet option

• Tiếp đến, các bạn hãy chọn Delete browsing history on exit để xóa toàn bộ dữ liệu duyệt web và tắt IE ngay lập tức.

• Sau đó các bạn hãy mở lại IE xem đã khắc phục được lỗi “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” hay chưa, nếu tình trạng vẫn tiếp diễn hãy thử cách tiếp theo.

Cách 2: Tắt các tiện ích mở rộng (Add-on)

Một số nguyên nhân dẫn đến lỗi “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” đó là do các tiện ích mở rộng được tích hợp vào IE. Hãy tắt tạm thời tất cả các tiện ích xem có thể khắc phục được lỗi hay không.

• Các bạn hãy mở IE lên và chọn Tools/Manage Add-ons

• Trong bảng Add-ons hãy Disable các tiện ích và khởi động lại IE

• Nếu vẫn không thành công, hãy thử cách tiếp theo.

Cách 3: Khôi phục IE về mặc định ban đầu

• Cách làm cũng giống như cách 1, các bạn vào Tools/Internet Options.
• Tại đây, các bạn hãy chọn tab Advanced và click Restore advanced settings
