My Xiaomi wifi repeater arrived today.It is the chinese version. I cannot get it to connect to my router.I keep getting a "time out" message. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it? I have googled and youtubed it and followed their fix instructions but It still times out. I am about to stomp on it and order "global version"

It is ok now. I deleted the app then reinstalled and can now connect

It took me a few attempts to get connected to it to set up. Not the most intuitive process is it... :-(

Hi, Same problem here but don't give up if you are still interested. Your Repeater is ok, just fixed mine recently and working great. Try go into into your router and "disable the WDS bridging"....God bless!
