Word shapes can be filled with colours, pictures, gradients, and textures. This post shows you how to fill a shape with a picture. To fill a shape with a picture in Word shape:
Word will automatically re-size the inserted picture to fill the circular shape. If the image does not match the shape’s proportion, it may appear squashed or stretched.
You’ll see crop bars around the shape area (1) and a greyed-out area with handles extending beyond the shape area (2). This greyed-out area is part of the picture that will be cropped or ‘masked’ by the shape.

Where is shape styles in Word?On the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click Shape Effects, and select an option from the list.
