· 2 yr. ago · edited 2 yr. agoBHA only helped me to prevent getting "blackheads" but what actually helped me get rid of stubborn ones was actually oil cleansing every single night and really massaging and focussing it on the nose and then not rinse it away immediately but emulsify it with a bit of water first and massasing more. Hope I could help you. :]

These are not blackheads, they're sebaceous filaments. But yes, do try something with salicylic acid and be sure to keep your skin hydrated.

OMG Thanks god it's not blackheads. I'm afraid they are blackheads because it's getting more obvious. I'm thinking to use 2% salicylic acid in the future. Currently i use hyaluronic acid + kiehl's calendula water cream as moisturizer. Thanks you

I would personally use a product with 2 % salicylic acid[bha] twice a day and leave it on if your skin can tolerate it. I have done so in the past.

Same. I found Paula’s choice bha 2% better than the cosrx one. I apply every day and I have sensitive skin.

Wow The ordinary 2 % Salicylic ~ Got it , Did you also use Hyaluronic acid? I feel it works well with my blackheads pores

Using an oil cleanser nightly made a huge difference for me! Just massage it in for a couple of minutes and you might even feel the ‘grits’ coming out of your skin

What oil cleanser do you use and how do you use it? What products should come before and after an oil cleanse? Thank you so much.

Hey,
Double cleansing with a good cleansing oil [jojoba oil preferably to regulate oil production] followed by cleansing with your a gentle cleanser in the evening will help to reduce/remove the blackheads. Also, using a BHA product will help with the blackheads. I would recommend Paula's Choice BHA leave on exfoliant [the grey bottle].
Hope this helps! x

I'm thinking about Kiehl's lavender cleansing oil because of lavender smell. Thank you

Hey; I use CosRX Bha every 2-3 days and my skin is really sensitive. Sometimes I will only put it on the T-zone too. Its an extremely gentle formula so you can do this! Also do not wash it off.
I would also recommend trying oil cleansing. You are normally suppose to do it at night, but sometimes I will do it the morning after I used a Bha and it works really well.
