If you mean any non Citrix window, the answer is yes. I can move browsers, Mail, etc from one monitor to the other without any issues. That’s how I know the MacBook is ok.

I can drag a window from one screen to the other. But, it must get mostly to the other screen to become active. I cant have it half way without it looking ghosted. Why, is that a problem? I believe my old MacBook pro acted the same way.

    un-Check this checkbox:

when successful, you should be able to park a window half on each display. And Citrix should be able to do the same.

So, that was very helpful as it allowed me to now overlap MacBook apps. When I started up Citrix Workspace app and got into my corporate network, surprisingly both screens went into "use all displays in full screen" mode. This is much further than I was able to get before, which is GREAT! Thank you for that. Now, here's the new issue I'm getting....I cant push any window over to the other screen. It's as though there is a wall between my MacBook Pro and the additional LG monitor. I'm in full screen mode & use all screens, but cant push/slide apps like Outlook or a browser over to the other Citrix container window. Any thoughts? Feel like I'm getting very close to solving this. Thanks...

Have you made certain that the Arrangement pane reflects how your displays are on your bench, left right up down?

DON't use Full screen. It is a feature reverse ported from the iPhone, land of tiny screens and one-at-a-time processing. Avoid 'FullScreen". It is bizarre with multiple displays. instead, stretch the window until it is quite large, but short of Fullscreen.

So the arrangement panes are correct. The MacBook Pro is on the left and the LG monitor is on the right. My cursor, while in Citrix Workspace container, correctly moves over to the LG [right side] monitor, but no window will move beyond the boundary of my MB Pro. What am I missing. Seems like something easy. So close...

What about your preference to "FullScreen"? that feature works really badly on the Mac. Are you using FullScreen?

There are a few Applications that deliberately defeated Extended Desktop for performance reasons. Older versions of iMovie was one. Rather than opening multiple windows, it opened ONE window with multiple regions, and those regions could not be moved to a different display.

So, I tried something...I moved my Citrix Workspace over to the secondary monitor and then entered full screen mode. And all of a sudden I was back to operating with 2 screens. I was very happy about that until I noticed the following issues. 1] both remoted windows expanded to a large size that caused some screen clipping. 2] The notch on the new MacBook Pro was visibly interfering with the data on the screen. Not sure what to do now or what to try. I did try to change the res and refresh rate of the secondary LG monitor, but that didnt make any difference. Any other thoughts?

Whenever you ask ME about Fullscreen use with multiple displays, in my opinion, it does not work. When it was first released, the secondary screen went completely BLANK when Fullscreen was invoked. It appears to have improved, but not much.

Adjusting for the notch corrupted Citrix. I had to uninstall, download & reinstall a fresh copy of Citrix. At this point, all I can think of is that this is a Citrix/M1 chip issue. I sure hope so, because if not I have a very expensive laptop that cant do what the old Intel-based one did which I have to send back to Apple this week to get my trade in refund. I do appreciate the help.
