Stable Job.
Warehouse Worker in Middletown:
Pros: I appreciate that I am able to utilize paid and unpaid time to take time off from the job. The different benefits that are given to us are amazing and I could have never gotten these with another company at this entry level.
Cons: I honestly hate the long hours pulled each day. Many have agreed that we would have appreciated a five day 8 1/2 work scheduled compared to our 4 day 10 1/2 work schedule. Last it's very repetitive and wish the type of work done each day could change to give the job more variety.
Cutting Edge.
Solutions Architect in New York:
Pros: The smartest people solving problems with the best technology.
Cons: Fast growth leads to ambiguous knowledge of company and internal politics.

Hundreds of Amazonians enjoy working in Luxembourg. Quality of life, the location within Europe, a diverse, expat-friendly culture, and children’s international education are just some of the reasons why skilled and innovative colleagues first decided to join us here. Meet Rachel, Ana, Gil, Jake and Olga - Amazonians who call Luxembourg home.
Watch our 'Welcome to Luxembourg' video to find out more about living and working in the city.
Bordered on all sides by its much larger neighbors – Belgium, France and Germany – Luxembourg is the world's only remaining sovereign Grand Duchy. The official language is Luxembourgish but French and German are administrative languages. Unsurprisingly, English is widely understood. Foreign residents account for 48% of the total population.
Although small, the country has a highly developed economy with the highest GDP per capita in the world. Click through to discover more about the high quality healthcare, education and pension systems in Luxembourg and the Duchy’s financial support for parents. Information on the cost of living is here.
Luxembourg’s small size means Amazonians can live in, or close to, the city center. Others prefer living in the countryside that accounts for over a third of the territory and at a short distance from our offices. Some employees prefer to commute daily to Luxembourg from the neighboring countries under the Schengen free-movement agreement and their commuting times by car are better than within many capital cities. The network of buses, trains and a tram service will become free to use in 2020, making Luxembourg the first country to offer free public transport for its residents.
Hi there, I’m interested if I’m getting paid fairly at Amazon in Luxembourg since there is very limited info online specifically for this pay range.
I am in a L5 role [marketing manager] with 4 years of work experience and a MSc at amazon and my annual gross is €65k, I’m interested how this compares to similair jobs/roles in the industry in Lux.
Senior Program Manager [Current Employee] - Luxembourg - November 18, 2021
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedPros: Can easily switch teams and work on new projects.
Cons: Very little [to none] salary growth, the easiest way to increase salary is to leave Amazon and boomerang back later. Work/life balance is not great if you are based in EU and work with tech teams in Seattle.

Even at senior levels work life balance is paid lip service. Projects are created for the sake of showing management progress, teams are created around them, but no real purpose or value.

Fun place to work, requires you to be self driven and manage your assignment, giving regular feedback. Very quick to adopt new changes and supportive to explore different methods to drive continuous improvements.

Whether you will love or hate Amazon will depend on your manager.
While some says that Amazon is innovative and looking for long-terms solution, I got expressly told to look for the lazy short-term solution and stop looking to innovate.
The work life balance is awful. You will mostly eat at your desk in frond the computer.
Moreover, HR are stronly on your manager side and will block you if you try to move between jobs without your manager consent.

Marketing Manager [Former Employee] - Luxembourg - September 2, 2019
In your first months in the company, you are mainly trained on the leadership principles, which feels like a total brainwash. After you ramp up, people expect you to put in crazy hours, even if you don't see value in what you're doing. If you start complaining too much, they will put you on a so-called "coaching plan" or "personal improvement plan", to make you feel like you are a total failure and they are only there to help you perform at your best. In reality, they are putting even more pressure on you and if you don't hit the targets, they will have a valid case to fire you.
Good salary compared to local average
Your growth oportunities are highly dependent on your manager and this can change frequently
