Weather Tiếng Anh là gì

Thời tiết luôn là đề tài được sử dụng nhiều nhất khi bắt đầu các cuộc trò chuyện, làm quen. Do đó, nắm vững từ vựng chủ đề thời tiết bằng tiếng Anh sẽ giúp bạn thâm tự tin khi giao tiếp.

1. Từ vựng về Tình trạng thời tiết

Từ vựng Nghĩa Ví dụ Weather thời tiết The weather in the mountains can change very quickly, so take appropriate clothing. Weather forecast dự báo thời tiết What is the weather forecast for next week? 5.1. Hỏi về thời tiết nói chung

Để hỏi về thời tiết nói chung, bạn có thể sử dụng 2 mẫu câu sau:

• Hows the weather?[Thời tiết hiện tại thế nào?]
• Whats the weather like?[Thời tiết đang thế nào nhỉ?]

5.2. Hỏi về nhiệt độ

• Whats the temperature?[Nhiệt độ hiện đang là bao nhiêu?]
• What temperature do you think it is?[Bạn nghĩ hiện tại trời đang bao nhiêu độ?]

5.3.Hỏi về thời tiết ở một địa điểm nhất định

Whats the weather like in+ địa điểm cụ thể [thành phố, quốc gia]?[Thời tiết ở _______ như thế nào?]

Hows the weather in+ địa điểm cụ thể [thành phố, quốc gia]?[Thời tiết ở _______ như thế nào?]

Ví dụ:

• Whats the weather like in New York?[Thời tiết ở New York thế nào?]
• Hows the weather in Hanoi?[Thời tiết ở Hà Nội ra sao?]

Ngoài cách hỏi chung chung như trên, bạn cũng có thể hỏi cụ thể hơn: ở thành phố này có mưa không, thành phố kia có đang nắng không bằng mẫu câu hỏi sau:

Is it + hiện tượng thời tiết + in + địa điểm cụ thể [thành phố, quốc gia]?

Does it + hiện tượng thời tiết + in + địa điểm cụ thể [thành phố, quốc gia]?

Ví dụ:

• A: Does it snow in Tokyo?[Ở Tokyo có tuyết rơi không?]
  B: No. Currently its pretty cold in Tokyo but it hasnt snowed yet.[Không. Hiện tại Tokyo đang khá lạnh rồi nhưng vẫn chưa có tuyết rơi đâu.]
• A: Is it sunny in Saigon?[Trời Sài Gòn đang nắng phải không?]
  B: No, it isnt. Saigon is in the wet season/rainy season now. There are heavy rains and floods almost everyday. [Không đâu. Sài Gòn hiện đang trong mùa mưa. Trời mưa to và ngập lụt gần như hàng ngày luôn ấy.]

5.4. Hỏi về thời tiết trong khoảng thời gian nhất định

Hỏi về thời tiết trong quá khứ:

• What was the weather like + thời gian [yesterday, on Tuesday, last week, etc]?
• How was the weather like + thời gian? [Thời tiết hôm qua/tuần trước/ như thế nào vậy nhỉ?]
• Was it + hiện tượng thời tiết + thời gian?
• Did it + hiện tượng thời tiết + thời gian?

Ví dụ:

• A: Did it rain last night? I couldnt sleep because of the noise outside. [Đêm qua trời mưa phải không nhỉ? Tớ không ngủ được vì bên ngoài ồn quá.]
  B: No, it didnt. Maybe you was dreaming![Trời đâu có mưa đâu. Chắc cậu ngủ mơ đấy!]
• A: How was the weather last week?[Thời tiết tuần trước thế nào vậy?]
  B: It was very warm and sunny during the week.[Trời nắng ấm suốt cả tuần luôn.]

Hỏi về thời tiết trong tương lai:

• Whats the forecast like?[Dự báo thời tiết thế nào?]
• Whats the forecast for + thời gian [tomorrow, the next 3 days, next month]?[Dự báo thời tiết cho ngày mai/tuần tới/ thế nào?]
• What will the weather be like + thời gian [tomorrow, on Sunday, in October]?[Thời tiết ngày mai/tuần tới/ sẽ thế nào nhỉ?]
• Do you know if it will/is going to + hiện tượng thời tiết + thời gian?[Bạn nghĩ trời có vào không?]

Ví dụ:

• A: What do you think the weather will be like in December? [Cậu nghĩ thời tiết tháng 12 sẽ như thế nào?]
  B: Of course it will be cold. But I think there wont be snow like last year. [Chắc chắn là sẽ lạnh rồi. Nhưng tớ nghĩ sẽ không có tuyết như năm ngoái đâu.]
• A: Do you know whats the forecast for tomorrow? [Cậu có biết dự báo thời tiết ngày mai thế nào không?]
  B: They say it will be cloudy. We still should bring our umbrella, you know, just in case. [Dự báo nói mai trời sẽ âm u. Chúng mình vẫn nên mang ô theo, cậu biết mà, để đề phòng thôi.]

5.5.Các mẫu câu hỏi khác

• Whats it like outside?[Thời tiết bên ngoài như thế nào vậy?]
• Is it + hiện tượng thời tiết?

Ví dụ:

• Is it raining?[Trời đang mưa à?]
• Is it sunny outside?[Bên ngoài đang nắng phải không?]
• Is it snowing?[Đang có tuyết rơi đúng không nhỉ?]

Ngoài ra, còn có một câu nói tương tự với câuHôm nay trời đẹp nhỉtrong tiếng Việt:

• Beautiful day, isnt it?
• What a beautiful day!

5.6. Cách mô tả thời tiết

Để mô tả thời tiết, cách đơn giản nhất là bạn sử dụng mẫu câu:

• It is + hiện tượng thời tiết [tính từ]hoặcIt is a + tính từ + day
• It is + hiện tượng thời tiết [V-ing]
• There is + hiện tượng thời tiết [danh từ]

Ví dụ:

• Its [sunny/ raining] - Trời đang có nắng/ mưa.
• What a beautiful day! Hôm nay trời đẹp quá!
• Its not a very nice day! Hôm nay trời không đẹp lắm!
• What a miserable weather! Thời tiết hôm nay thật tệ!
• Its pouring outside Bên ngoài trời đang mưa xối xả
• We had a lot of heavy rain this morning Sáng nay trời mưa to rất lâu
• The weathers fine Trời đẹp
• Theres not a cloud in the sky: Trời không một gợn mây
• The suns shining Trời đang nắng
• We havent had any rain for a fortnight Cả nửa tháng rồi trời không hề mưa
• Its hot - Trời nóng.
• It will be a sunny day tomorrow - Ngày mai trời sẽ nắng đẹp.
• There is a big storm coming to the city. - Đang có một cơn bão lớn đổ bộ vào thành phố.
• It is freezing cold. - Trời đang lạnh cóng luôn.
• It is windy outside. - Ngoài trời đang gió lắm.
• It is raining cats and dogs in London.- Ở London trời đang mưa như trút.
• It's starting to rain - Trời bắt đầu mưa rồi
• It's stopped raining - Trời tạnh mưa rồi
• It's pouring with rain - Trời đang mưa to lắm
