Last summer, I had a wonderful vacation at My Khe beach – Da Nang. We traveled by plane to Da Nang which took us about 2 hours. As soon as I arrived, I could see the large and beautiful sea. And at that moment, I wanted to run quickly to the sea, enjoy the clear blue water and fresh air. The weather in Da Nang was wonderful. There were many people there who swim, bathe, play soccer, windsurf; the children built sandcastles on the sea. My family and I went back to the hotel to put the luggage. Then we ate seafood together. The service here makes me very satisfied. The food was very fresh and deliciously cooked. After eating and resting, we went to the sea. I was immersed in the cool water and the waves. It was great! I also get to meet foreigners. They were tourists and they are very friendly. In the evening we go for a walk at the beach and sing karaoke together on the sand. We stayed in Danang for 3 days. I also went to souvenir shops to buy gifts for my friends. When I got back home I was very happy and a little bit regretful because I couldn’t stay longer. This was the best summer vacation I’ve ever had.

One of my best memories is the trip went to Ha Long Bay with my classmates last summer holiday. To me, the trip was not just a holiday but rather interesting experience and learning. Ha Long Bay is located in Quang Ninh Province and is 151 km from Ha Noi City to the East. It is one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world. We took 4 hours to get to Ha Long Bay by car. As soon as we reached there after a long journey, I was stunned by the beautiful scenic views that I only saw in pictures. Ha Long Bay has a nice, clean, romance beach and there are many things to discover. After lunch, we took a short rest then we swam all afternoon. We stayed in a 3-star hotel in front of the beach. In the evening, after going back from club, we sat together on the beach to see the stars in the sky. It was so romantic and relax. Next day, we hired a boat for a trip to see the islands. How amazing it is. I was extremely surprise with the natural beauty of Ngac Nhien and Sung So hang. I was so interested in areas and islands in Ha Long Bay that I didn’t want to leave. We did so many activities included swimming, surfing, football, boat trip and shopping. We took a lot of photographs. I so liked seafood in Ha Long that I bought a lot of them as a present to my family when I came back. I really had a relax and wonderful time in Ha Long Bay. That was pity when we only stayed there 2 days. The trip left me very much impressive and unforgetale memories.

Weather is always hot in summers, that is why many people choose to escape the heat by going somewhere cold such as Da Lat or Sapa. And lucky for me, last summer I had had a great chance to go to Da Lat with my friends on my summer holiday. To me, the weather there was so perfect, it was still always cold during that summer. The atmosphere there was very clean and fresh, which made me feel very comfortable. What made me surprised most is that the hotel we stayed has no air-conditional, but we still felt cold, that’s awesome. We stayed there for about 2 weeks and we had gone to many spectacular places. We went to Love valley - one of the greatest tourists attraction in Da Lat, Elephant falls, Lang Biang, Dambri waterfall. I also had a chance to try out various food, drink, and fresh fruit. I really liked the mulberry smoothy there, avocado ice cream, fruit jam which was made totally from real fresh fruit,…They were all very tasty. Especially, Da Lat had a number of beautiful scenery, much lovely coffee shop, and attractive spots that made me want to take a lot of pictures to keep the memory. There was also a night market, always crowded with customers, where people can buy food, flowers, or any stuff they want. I had gone there and buy many gifts for my family. It was an unforgettable trip, I was quite upset that I could not stay there for a long time, but I hoped I still can visit Da Lat whenever I have time, and I really recommend you went to Da Lat for holiday, it is very wonderful!

My last summer vacations were still boring . I had nothing to do. I could only watch TV, sleep, eat meals all day. These things may be interesting for you, but it’s boring with me. I wanted to go on a trip but I didn’t had anyone to go with. However, this summer vacation, everything will be changed. I don’t have time to watch TV anymore because I am going to have many things to do. I’m going to school to join some extra classes and start to practise being a teacher as my dream job is teaching students. Exspecially, I am going to have a 2-day-trip to Dalat with my family. My parents are extremely busy at work, so this will be the first time we travel together in summer vacation. I prefer staying outdoors than sitting at home and watching TV. Therefore, this summer is going to have a lot of fun, and I am really looking forward to it.

1. Cách viết bài viết tiếng Anh về kì nghỉ hè
Cấu trúc chung của bài:
- Câu chủ đề/mở đoạn [1 câu]
- Luận điểm 1 [1 câu]; triển khai luận điểm 1 [1-2 câu]
- Luận điểm 2 [1 câu]; triển khai luận điểm 2 [1-2 câu]
- Luận điểm 3 [1 câu]; triển khai luận điểm 3 [1-2 câu]
- Câu kết luận [optional]
1.1. Câu chủ đề/ mở đoạn
- Là câu thể hiện ý chính của cả đoạn. Bắt buộc phải có 1 câu chủ đề hoàn chỉnh mới có thể từ đó triển khai các luận điểm.
- Câu chủ đề phải có 2 phần
+ Topic: Thông báo cho người đọc về chủ đề đoạn văn
+ Controlling idea: Nhận định cá nhân của người viết về chủ đề này
1.2. Phần thân bài
Thân bài bao gồm khoảng 3 luận điểm chính triển khai, giải thích, chứng minh cho câu chủ đề; sau mỗi luận điểm sẽ là luận cứ chứng minh cho luận điểm đó. Thông thường đề bài sẽ cung cấp gợi ý cho 3 luận điểm. Ngoài ra bạn cũng có thể tự xây dựng luận điểm bằng việc đặt ra và trả lời những câu hỏi đơn giản Why, How [tại sao, làm thế nào].
- Nên triển khai 1 trong 3 luận điểm bằng một ví dụ thực tế.
- Khi triển khai ý, nếu được, hãy cố gắng vận dụng trải nghiệm thật của bản thân thay vì bài mẫu thuộc lòng. Bài viết của bạn nhờ đó sẽ tự nhiên hơn, gây thiện cảm cho người đọc.
- 3 luận điểm cần được đưa ra theo một bố cục rõ ràng, dễ theo dõi.
- Đoạn văn phải được trình bày đơn giản, mạch lạc, thể hiện rõ ràng quan điểm người viết theo tinh thần khoa học, tuyệt đối tránh lối viết ẩn ý, lạc đề, khoa trương, sáo rỗng.
1.3. Kết đoạn
- Là câu cuối, kết thúc đoạn văn. Câu này không bắt buộc nên các bạn có thể bỏ qua nếu không tự tin. Tuy nhiên, lưu ý rằng câu kết có thể giúp bù đắp nốt số từ còn thiếu so với yêu cầu, nếu bài của bạn quá ngắn.
- Chỉ bao gồm một câu duy nhất.
- Câu kết thường được viết bằng cách nhắc lại câu chủ đề theo một cách khác [Paraphrase].
- Tương tự như những phần trên trong đoạn văn, câu kết cũng cần phải được bắt đầu bằng một liên từ. Có rất nhiều liên từ dạng này [In conclusion, To conclude, In general, etc.], nhưng các bạn chỉ nên nhớ và sử dụng duy nhất 1 trong số đó cho tất cả các bài viết.

2.1. Bài số 1
As a student, I don’t have much free time beside those I love, so my summer vacation is the duration during which I often busy myself with many things at home all day. In the day time,
I often do sundry things for my grandmother and help my parents to do housework. In the evening, I go out with some of my old friends.
We often chat with each other in a cafe. Usually, when I am free from doing housework, I go and visit close relatives in my neighborhood and ask them about their life and business. In the late evening, I watch films on TV or read novels or books to widen my understanding. I often
go to bed very late.
In my mind, I always want my short summer vacations to be not only comfortable for me but also useful for my beloved people.
2.2. Bài số 2
Vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, it’s the time I eagerly waited for every year. Every year my school closes in the middle of the month of May and reopens by the first week of July. As my Annual exams get over and the results are declared so it’s the time when I can relax without the worries of my studies and exams.
This time I got promoted to class sixth from class fifth. After the hard labor for the examinations, I wanted some rest so I put aside my books for a few weeks and want to spend my whole time with my friends and family. On the very first morning of my holidays I went out to play with my friends but it was a very hot and humid outside so we decided to play indoor games. In the evening I asked my parents to take me to any of the hill stations to beat the heat. My father told me that he already planned a trip for Nainital Rishikesh with my Uncle’s family as he made all the necessary bookings.
It was too hot in Delhi, the sun was scorching and the wind was deliberating. Fortunately my father was taking me to Nainital. Me and my parents reached Rishikesh, it’s very pleasant there and our resort was also very beautiful and full of greenery near the bank of River Ganga. My uncle, my aunty and my cousins were all very excited to see all of us. They welcomed us with a warm heart.
At Rishikesh I went to the bank of River Ganga in the morning and it was very pleasant to see hundreds of men and women bathing in the stream of Ganga and then offering prayers in the different temples of its “Ghats”. Then we left to see other beautiful places at Rishikesh. We visited Laxmi jhoola, Triveni ghat and many other spots all fascinated me. I saw a large number of trees bearing beautiful fruits and flowers. In evening resort arranged a bonfire for all guests at the bank of Ganga. We all enjoyed lot, make some new friends and had delicious snacks followed by equally delicious dinner.
We remained there for four days, enjoyed river rafting and many other adventure activities. From there my father and my uncle planned to go on a pilgrimage tour. We left for Haridwar, Mathura and Vrindavan. The scenery and views of all these places was beautiful and breathtaking. Of all the vacations this was my best summer vacation ever, mainly because my cousins were also there. I told my parents to plan similar holidays for every summer vacation, in the coming years.
The vacation was over and I was back to school but my mind was still remembering the sweet memories of the summer vacation. I will await the next summer holidays and would love to go on this type of vacation again and again
2.3. Bài số 3
Last summer, I went to Cua lo with my family. We went there by car, it is very far from my house, it is about 400 km, so we were very tired, but at one we felt better when we saw the sea.
Cua lo beach is really interesting, the beach is very large, flat, and it has a lot of sand. Waves are very strong, you will be very excited when you play with it. There are a lot of beauty spots, and good seafood there
We stayed in Binh Minh hotel. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel, it’s also rather near the sea.
The weather was hot and sunny all day. The sea was cool and clear, because it was very windy in the afternoon. We went swimming twice a day. My children was excited about it. The food was extremely delicious but not very expensive.
We took a lot of Photograps of the sea, bought a lot of seafood especially octobus[ca muc] and some sea present for our relatives[ho hang]
After a week in Cua lo beach we felt happy and stronger.
We hope to go there again.

Chúng tôi ở trong khách sạn Bình Minh. Đó là một khách sạn rất đẹp và thoải mái, nó cũng khá gần biển.
Thời tiết nóng và nắng cả ngày. Biển mát mẻ và sạch, bởi vì có nhiều gió vào buổi chiều. Chúng tôi đã đi bơi hai lần một ngày. Các con tôi vô cùng phấn khích về nó. Thức ăn rất ngon nhưng không đắt lắm.
Chúng tôi đã chụp rất nhiều cảnh biển, đã mua rất nhiều hải sản đặc biệt là cá mực và vài món quà biển cho người thân của chúng tôi
Sau một tuần ở bãi biển Cửa Lò, chúng tôi cảm thấy hạnh phúc và mạnh mẽ hơn.
Chúng tôi hy vọng đến đó một lần nữa.
