Asus Non-Touch Screen Replacement
Once you have broken your Asus Laptop screen, you will properly already be aware if its touch or not. If its a non-touch Asus Laptop screen, we will still need to identify the pin-out connector and correct resolution. Please note that the pin-out could be different even though the model number is the same.

Asus Touch Screen replacements have 2 different designs, the first being a complete screen assembly needs to be replaced, This is due to the screen and touch digitizer being glued together, so even though the image e is fine behind the damaged touchscreen, we still need to replace the entire assembly. This consists of the touch screen digitizer, the LCD screen, touch and screen ribbon cable and in most instances the bezel.
These type of screen assemblies are glued into the rear lid and require a heat toll for replacement.
The Asus touch screen replacement can be costly, but these type of screen are generally in the high-end Asus models.

The touch screen also known as a digitizer is separated from the LCD using a heat tool, the small digitizer mainboard is tested and reused in most repairs. A specific 3m adhesive is used to re-secure the touchscreen back to the LCD screen.
