Skindom vitamin c treatment serum review năm 2024

Intense whitening and antioxidant effectively strengthen protective layer of the skin, against harmful substances for skin damage and maintain healthy skin.

Skindom Vitamin C Treatment Serum

Skindom Vitamin C Treatment Serum can brighten age spots and hyper-pigmentation, or discoloration of the skin. The vitamin C serums act as a natural bleaching agent and lighten the skin, including age spots and dark circles under the eye. In addition to brightening skin, topical vitamin C serums can prevent mild redness associated with sun damage. According to Dr. Oz, topical vitamin C can even reduce the number of sunburned skin cells.

Skindom Vitamin C Treatment Serum contains “Ascorbyl Glucoside” a clear and stable form of Vitamin C. This type of vitamin c is combined with glucose which then breaks down on skin and produce a pure Vitamin C.

Stable Vitamin C, which means there’s no browning or oxidation effect. Controls tyrosine activity, great for skin lightening, evens and lightens dark spots and areas. No sting, redness or burning effect on skin.

How To Use

The best way to use a topical vitamin C is to simply apply a small amount of it once or twice a day [depending on your skin type] to clean, dry skin. It should be applied before you begin applying your makeup [give it time to dry], but after you use your daily facial toner [should you choose to use one]. From there, simply continue with your regular makeup and skin care routine.

You will find grapefruit oil in a lot of skincare due to its antioxidant and antibacterial properties, and this is especially true for acne prone skin. I have acne prone skin, though not as bad as some, but it’s still there. I also have oily skin, so sometimes serums are to oily for me, which was what I was worried about with this Skindom acne balance serum.

But I’m happy to say that this is a very lightweight oil that absorbs into the skin quickly. It didn’t leave any slick spots on my face after a few minutes, and my face didn’t look overly oily, or at least no more than normal. There is no scent at all to this serum which is really surprising, I was expecting a citrus scent, but there’s nada.

The bottle is a very basic and opaque, with a dropper style lid and distributor. You actually get a lot of product in here at 100ml, or 3.38 Fl ounce. Most serums are anywhere from .5 fl ounce to 1 fl ounce. So there’s a LOT more product in this. The problem is that once you open something with vitamin c the clock starts ticking, and quickly, usually 3-6 months once open. So taking that into consideration, I personally think that a smaller bottle and a less expensive price would be the way to go with this.

As for long term results, I have only been using this for a little over a week, so I can’t speak to the long tern results yet. But so far my acne hasn’t gotten worse, so that’s a plus. Considering everything I like and dislike about this product, I thought it would be a good idea to give it a neutral 3 stars until I use it longer. I will update in a month or two after I have been using this for a good bit of time and update the rating and review accordingly.

This serum oil absorbs into my skin well and doesn't leave it feeling heavy or greasy. It's lightweight and blends nicely, but also has no scent at all, which I found odd, since it is made using grapefruit extract and grapefruit seed extract, but the last listed ingredient is phenoxyethanol, which is used as a scent controller in cosmetics. So far, while using, I don't see much more improvement in my acne breakouts than when using tea tree oil products to calm a flare, but it also hasnt caused any negative reactions either, so its a win-win here. The bottle size is pretty large for a facial oil so you get quite a bit of product here, and it is also a dark colored amber glass, which protects the product inside from sunlight exposure. I am ok with this product and think its would be great for a household if there are multiple people with acne breakouts [as it is a large bottle with plenty to go around].

NO ODOR

I don't have acne. Have never had acne. Like most people, I get an occasional blemish on my face and am hoping this organic treatment, using grapefruit extract and grapefruit seed extract, will work overnight magic when I get a blemish outbreak. Actual lemon juice does wonders for the skin, so I'm sure the combo of Vitamin C and lycopene in grapefruit will be a blemish zapper.

The heavy glass, brown bottle means business by protecting Vitamin C in the grapefruit from oxidizing due to light exposure, which also shows that Skindom takes the acne/blemish control serum seriously. It comes with an eye dropper and the liquid is quite runny. I just patted a drop on a blemish that popped up yesterday. I experienced no stinging, redness, irritation or allergic reaction to the serum, but am taking the disclaimer on the bottle seriously and will use the serum sparingly in "test" mode until I'm sure there are no negative reactions.

I usually have blemish pads or blemish creams on hand for such an emergency, so a liquid like this is a new experience. I like that the liquid leaves no visible signs after application, unlike some products. The description doesn't say how long this method should take to work. My skin doesn't feel dry or tight after application. If it doesn't work or takes too long, I'll revise this review. If nothing else, it's comforting to use a blemish treatment without lots of chemicals.

I am interested in trying new skincare products, brands, and innovations. I have combination sensitive skin and facing a hot and humid summer in New York City. I don't have much acne but usually breakout every month and sometimes get more during the hot months. I used this Acne Balance Serum on my T-zone. The oil didn't cause my face to shine or look oily, instead it was absorbed into my skin.

I haven't seen a change in pore size or any significant change to my skin but I have just started using the serum. I'll update my review if I see a significant change. I didn't experience any redness, sensitivity or irritation using this product.

-My favorite thing about this is the natural approach. We try our best to avoid any skin care products with chemicals, polymers, artificial dyes, etc.

-This isn't exactly an oil, it's a serum. I believe it helps, we're using on a pre-teen. Feels a bit like the vitamin C serum I use, which I also recommend.

-My only complaint is the price - it's a heft bottle, nearly 4 ounces, but still more pricey than other natural products we use.

Other things you may want to try:

I ordered this for my daughter who has a lot of breakouts lately. It is a very light, thin, clear oil and has a very mild scent. She applies a thin layer of it to her skin after cleansing her face and patting it dry with a towel. It seems to help and soothe the skin. She still has breakouts but less severe.

The oil comes in an amber, squarish bottle with a glass eye dropper. It is wrapped in plastic for protection. No retail box. Mine arrived leaking a bit and soaked up under the plastic. It has an expiration date of about 17 months from now. Made in Korea.

I ordered this product to help my hyperpigmentation around my chin area. I'm currently doing electrolysis to help reduce my hair growth. This product with Grapefruit oil can help my skin and any subsequent breakouts. Its a good addition to my skin care routine. The smell is non-offensive which is a big plus. I do find this liquid to be very watery and not a thick, syrup like consistency like my other vitamin C oils/ syrums I've used. I'm willing to follow up once I've finished this bottle.

Skindom acne serum is unscented grapefruit oil. I was hoping for a light citrus smell, but nope. It works fine, and the no-smell is way better than smelling Tea Tree oil or clearasil.

This is a great light oil to help problem skin. Believe it or not, sometimes an oil is just the thing to combat breakouts and other issues vs. the long-touted but ineffective method of drying your skin out so much it produces more sebum.

This has great anti-inflammatory properties and seems to really help cut down on the breakouts on my combination skin. As far as pore size, I don't see a difference.

Does vitamin C serum actually work?

Vitamin C can also stimulate the skin's production of collagen, a protein that increases skin firmness and elasticity and helps keep it plump and hydrated. Because of this, “using a powerful, stable vitamin C serum consistently over time can help smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles,” Dr. Bowe said.

Can I use vitamin C serum everyday?

While most people can tolerate daily use of vitamin C serum, some people may experience redness, irritation, or even breakouts. If you have sensitive skin, it's important to start slowly when using a vitamin C serum. Begin by using it every other day, and gradually increase to daily use if your skin can tolerate it.

Is there any side effects of using vitamin C serum on face?

Vitamin C can make the skin more sensitive to UV rays, so it's important to wear sunscreen when using a Vitamin C serum. Vitamin C serum can also cause dryness, flaking and peeling of skin, especially if it is not formulated for your skin type.
